Explore how our team has transformed many Bloomington smiles! We offer cosmetic treatments from veneers to crowns or orthodontics and everything in between.
Our patient has never liked her smile. After a few months in braces we were able to place these beautiful veneers. The veneers are thin porcelain that are bonded to the surface of the tooth. Very little preparation of the tooth is needed and we can control the shape and color of the veneers to fit the patient's ideal smile.
A combination of orthodontics, cosmetic crown lengthening, and veneers was needed to create this beautiful smile. Our pt stated " I am so happy with my new smile."
Our patient had some severely worn lower teeth and poorly designed upper crowns. The crowns were replaced and conservative veneers covered the lower teeth.
This tooth was likely about to break. By placing a crown before it broke the patient was able to avoid losing the tooth. He also avoided needing more expensive treatment like an implant or root canal therapy.
This silver filling had a large cavity near it. A very conservative porcelain Onlay was able to be bonded to the tooth. This restoration replaces just the broken portions of the tooth while leaving the healthy part intact.
Fillings do not last forever. It was time to replace this filling and the patient wanted something more esthetic. A composite filling was used to replace it. A composite filling is a tooth colored resin material that is matched to your tooth. These will last nearly as long as a silver filling and do not require as much tooth structure to be removed.
This is an example of what a cavity looks like in a tooth. Often the cavity gets larger as it goes into the tooth. A composite filling can be a conservative way to fill in the cavity and it can be matched to the shade of the tooth.
This patient was suffering from a cracked tooth. She had cold sensitivity and could not chew with this tooth. It was restored with a porcelain restoration to hold the sections of the tooth together.
Our patient was born with some teeth that were too small and others that were discolored. Once we finished with orthodontics, veneers were placed to give her a beautiful smile.
This is an example of how functional appliances and braces can straighten teeth without having to pull any adult teeth.
This young patient developed a crossbite and a functional shift. To get her teeth to bite together she had to shift her jaw way to the left. Functional appliances were used to correct the crossbite and allow her chin to be aligned correctly. She can now continue to grow normally.
Our patient had a bad habit of grinding his teeth. New crowns of a stronger material were made. He has also been tested for sleep apnea and wears a night time appliance to help breathing and protect his teeth.
Our patient was treated with Invisalign prior to fixing the broken teeth. One tooth needed a veneer and the other only needed a filling.
These photos demonstrate that even after 10 years your smile can be beautiful after orthodontics.
